Marian University Student Nurses Association

 
The Wisconsin Student Nurses' Association holds 2 conventions each year.  In fall, a Mid-year Convention is held in conjunction with WNA.  In Spring, WSNA holds their annual Convention just for students.

WHY Go to Convention???
 
-Educational Opportunities
-Run for a State Office Position
-Meet nursing students from all over the state
-Participate in official WSNA meetings/business
-Visit the exhibit hall for job opportunities
-HAVE FUN!
 

 
Clinical Policy related to Convention:
-You may miss one clinical experience per academic year to attend convention.
-Student will be required to give up observational experience so maximum time can be spent on the unit.
-If a student recieves an academic difficulty during the semester, he/she may be disqualified from attending convention.
-It is the STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to talk to instructors regarding their absence!
